City Hall gets festive

I spent the night out with my parents and we stopped by Christmas Village. Earlier in the week my mom and I originally planned a girls night out but we wanted my brother and my dad to tag along. Sadly, my brother was sick but my dad joined us and we drove down from the Doylestown area.

First, we had dinner and wine at Kite & Key in Fairmount. We’ve never eaten there but we’re always getting brunch at Sabrina’s, which is at the end of the street. We decided to walk to City Hall from there and check out the display.

There were a bunch of cute wooden shops decorated with bright lights. It was packed with people shopping, ice-skating, or hanging out.

Even though we only bought a snack, we had a good time. Afterword, we walked to the Tavern on Broad for a drink. The bar played Prince’s “I Would Die 4 U” and right away it sparked a conversation on great singers from the 80s.

My mom and I are huge Prince fans so we were dancing in our seats singing along to Prince’s beautiful voice.

We stopped by another bar and engaged about professors since I’m getting ready to take my finals.

It was a great night and hopefully my brother will be able to tag along next time.
